Team Development & Motivation - Graphic Strategic Journey Planning Graphic Strategic Journey PlanningA unique Journey Planning Workshop to help explore organisational direction, steps needed to achieve the mission, vision and goals of the organisation whilst exploring the current context the organisation is operating within. Programme Content Graphic History This exercise explores the organisations past, tracking where it has been in order to define where it is headed. It is an excellent way to bring the team together, orient newer staff, celebrate accomplishments, clarify values and prepare for visioning. SPOT Analysis This exercise looks at the organisation's strengths and problems in relation to the major opportunities and threats it faces. Context Map During this exercise the group explores their current work context. In any organisation there are larger factors, such as social and business trends, the current economic climate etc., which shape what people think is and isn't possible as much as any of the resources and capacities within the group. Cover Story Vision This is a brainstorming session to elicit ideas about the organisation's future - an effective way to commence the visioning process. 5 Bold Steps This session focuses on developing specific strategies to allow the organisation to move confidently towards the desired vision. Game Plan An action plan for the group - by creating an image of the team, its target and how to get there, the group members develop a workable plan for moving from ideas into action. What our clients have said: "The day was thoroughly enjoyable and made what could have been a really difficult task seem easy. Mike facilitated the group very well and despite an over enthusiastic audience, kept us on track. We came away with real tangible actions that will ensure we are in the right shape for the challenges that lie ahead in 2009. A great course and I would thoroughly recommend it.." Rachael Bracewell Head of Operational Training, Retail Operations, HBOS "It was a superb day and it was so alive and engaging that I have a strong visual memory of this, which I have used when revisiting our 5 bold steps going forward."
