 Matthew is an experienced Commercial Manager in the FMCG sector and has enjoyed considerable and prolonged success in the food industry.
He possesses a wealth of experience in Commercial Management in both Retail and Foodservice markets, with a proven record of successful business development, consistently achieving significant year on year targets and growth. Matthew has experience of working with all of the UK major multiple retailers, offering outstanding levels of service, innovation and partnership in order to develop business and maximise sales and profits. Having started his career in Catering and Hospitality Management he moved in to Contract Catering Sales and progressed into food manufacturing, developing business partnerships with Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's. During this time, he gained a deep understanding of how the retail industry works and has experienced all functions within the food manufacturing industry, from planning, purchasing, new / existing product development, supply chain and technical to sales and marketing.
During his time in industry, Matthew developed a keen interest in the science of behaviour and puts much of his success down to the implementation of techniques such as building rapport and behaviour profiling. Contact Matt
