You have invested in your business – The learning and skills council would like TO INVEST £1000 in you

Through our Leadership & Management programmes, owner managers and company directors have a great opportunity to apply for funding to help develop business leadership skills.
This offer is available to all companies with 5-249 staff.

Up to £1000 to help develop your business leadership skills

Your learning programme can be funded up to a maximum contribution of £1000.

·    The first £500 is available to managing directors, owner managers, and company directors and does not need to be matched.

·    A further grant of up to £500, which must be matched funded, is available to any senior manager or the management team.

This money can be put towards one or a combination of training solutions to benefit you and your business. For example:

• Training can be in any subject area that will help the Director/Manager develop in their business. 
• It could be

§  Advanced Management Development training

§  1:1 coaching

§  Tailored team training

§  Motivational Analysis for individuals and teams

§  Strategic Journey Planning workshop

§  A Professional Excellence open course

Eligibility Summarised.  To be eligible for funding the applicant must:

• Be a CEO/Managing Director/Director/Senior manager or lead a charity, voluntary or not for profit organisation.
• Be working in an organisation employing between 5 – 249 staff or volunteers based in the East of England (Beds, Cambs, Essex, Herts, Norfolk, Suffolk).
• Not have had any previous training funded by this Leadership and management scheme since October 2007.
